At Stage Door Dance, we strongly believe that giving back to our community is an important component to our studio's cultural values. We offer a variety of service learning opportunities for all of our dancers, and past experiences have included:

  • Performance Opportunities at the Governor Morehead School for the Blind
  • Participation in Team Walks for the American Cancer Society
  • Fundraisers for Dancers Responding to Aids
  • Holiday Projects with Children’s Hospitals and Nursing Homes
  • Opportunities with Special Olympics of North Carolina
  • Charity Dance Classes
  • Penny Wars for the SPCA and Heart Pet Rescue 
  • Performing & Collecting Donations for the VA Hospital in Durham
  • Performing at Marbles Kids Museum 
  • Supporting Global H2O via the Make A Splash Initiative
  • Supporting the Me Fine Foundation via A Concert For The Kids Initiative 
  • Girls Geared For Greatness Training and Empowerment Event
  • Luck Be For Lemmon to benefit The Frankie Lemmon School
